Strawberri Kiss is easily described as affectionate and optimistic. A bubbly sort, she is often looking to find the best in everything, even when it seems like a situation is dire. She isn't naive, however, and is actually an incredibly smart pony! Having studied for a law degree before finally breaking away to open a pet shelter, Strawberri might surprise others with her intellect. She just rather be bubbly and spend her days having fun, honestly.
She loves animals and currently runs a pet shelter called Stawberri Kisses. Her home is built on a story above the pet shelter, ensuring she's able to tend to any pets in need!

Born to two very successful ponies, Strawberri Kiss was expected to follow in their steps when growing up and choose a "good career". She worked hard for a time, following her parent's instructions and avoiding other children to study. Growing up was lonely and hard, and eventually, Strawberri began to realize she was desperately unhappy. Still, she went to college for law, where she promptly dropped out the moment she moved out of her parent's home.

「◇ ◇ — Adulthood」
Strawberri Kiss ignored her parent's frantic phone calls and moved into a run-down building, which she'd later paint like a strawberry and turn into a pet shelter she named Strawberri Kisses. Through this shelter she managed to collect enough money from donations to truly make her shelter a beautiful place. Her parents discovered her job but did not persist in contacting her, instead giving up for the time.
She was lucky to meet a beautiful pony named Ruby Rose, who she fell for quickly. The two wasted no time in settling together. Ruby Rose moved in and they had two lovely children; Lychee and Kiwi. Later they ended up adopting Juniper; a lone foal who needed a home.
When the world shifted and suddenly everyone looked... well, different, Strawberri Kiss handled it with a roll of her shoulders. What was the other option? Panic? Freak out? No, she had worked far too hard for that. She later discovered she seemingly had a condition called NYD but chose not to research further.

A bit rough around the edges and easily irritated, Riot has become comfortable with the fact he isn't everyone's cup of tea. After years of recovering from past trauma and unfortunate dire situations, Riot now seeks peace and quiet alongside his family. His temper has mellowed during his mental health journey, but he still finds himself overwhelmed by strangers and struggles to keep himself from bristling towards new company. It doesn't help he's exactly the type to tell it how it is, making him abrasive at times. Really, he leaves the pony pleasing to his wife.
Due to his rocky background, Riot is fairly empathetic to the struggle of others and understands exactly how they got where they are. It doesn't mean he goes out of his way to care for them, as empathy doesn't exactly mean someone is kind, but he's more likely to open up to others of similar circumstances.
He loves his friends and family dearly and would sacrifice anything and everything for them. He works hard to provide for those he cares for and can overwork himself easily. He's lucky his wife won't let him go too far without a good night's sleep and a hot meal, otherwise he's sure he'd have dropped dead by now. He doesn't mind it, really -- keeping busy for the ones he loves is truly a joy and privilege, in his eyes. Around his loved ones he is a softer version of himself and prone to displaying affection he's only, in his later years, learned.

Raised by a single mother who deeply loved both him and his sister, Riot Doll's first few years of life were good. Humble, and with far less money than a family should have, but full of love and warmth. He befriended two kids named Zachary (Zack) and Alice and the three of them often played over Riot's house, usually ending with Zack staying the night whenever a new black eye or bruise was spotted.
As teenagers, it became clear to Riot that Zack didn't have the loving home he was gifted with. Zack detested the attention greatly, often shrugging both Riot and Alice off when they spoke their concerns or tried to intervene.
Alice and Riot began to date towards their final year of high school and dreamt of their futures together.

After graduating, Riot began seeking work, finding himself drawn to a tattoo shop and apprenticing for a time. The group stayed tight until Zack began to grow colder and reclusive, pushing both Alice and Riot away. Distracted and stressed by the strain in his friendship, Riot lost his apprenticeship and found himself spiraling as doubt crept into the back of his mind. What was he going to do now? What did he even want to do with his life?
It was easy for him to lean on Zack with his troubles when his friend offered support, and easier to accept the "medicine" Zack had promised would distract him from his troubles. And... it did, for a time, until it didn't. Until it became something he found himself scrambling to get more of, and lashing at those who tried to help. Until his mother died and he found himself doubling and tripling the doses.
Until he hit rock bottom.
Alice, unable to watch her partner and her best friend crumble together, left both their town and the relationship. Riot pleaded for her to return, to which she would evidently demand he admit himself into rehab and he would refuse. Perhaps this was what Riot needed, as once the bitter sting of the eventual realization she'd never come home hit him he did as she requested and successfully sobered. His friendship with Zack ended almost immediately after, although not without effort in trying to help his friend. Zack declined, and Riot decided to continue his life anew.
Time passed and Riot found his calling in fine jewelry making of all kinds, eventually even securing a studio for his work. It would come as a surprise when three baskets suddenly emerged after bumping into Blepicorn and Pauk, who were clearly the other parents of said children. While Riot had absolutely no desire to have kids, he still found himself drawn to helping with the brood and even moved in with Blepicorn to spend more time with them. Pauk kept their distance, thankfully, as neither Riot nor his kids cared much for the third parent.
Riot learned to love being a parent and, in turn, love Blepicorn. Once the children were adults and ready to head out in the world he quickly realized he didn't want to lose Blepicorn in the process and was elated to hear she felt the same. Their partnership turned romantic, and Riot finally felt like he was right where he needed to be in life.
Unfortunately, his son Rocket would quickly come back to their house to recover from his own broken heart after being dumped by the girlfriend he had been with since he was a child. Rocket began to work at Riot's studio, furthering their own interest in jewelry making.

• Blepicorn: His love, his best friend, his wife. He continues to be struck in awe by her optimism and kindness. She makes him a better pony.
• Alice: While he hasn't seen her in... who knows how long, Riot still feels a fondness for his childhood best friend. He hopes he can make amends one day.
• Zack: He hasn't seen Zack since way back when, but he's heard that his friend has finally gotten their life back on track. Maybe one day they can rekindle their friendship, but currently, Riot still views Zack as someone who was important to him.
