Petalnose- errr.. as he preferred to be called, just Petal, was an interesting young stallion. He had the misfortune of being named after the fact he had a big flower get stuck to his nose when he had emerged from his basket. Or, her saw it as a misfortune. At least his love for flowers and all things colorful made a nickname easy enough to situate. Most ponies he met didn't even know his real name! He didn't know why but being called anything with nose felt very unpleasant.
But, you aren't here to watch him ramble on in his head about how horrid his name is, are you? You're here to learn more about this happy little guy. He's moved on to live all on his lonesome now, much to his displeasure, and spends most his days working on his craft. What is that, you may ask? Well, art, of course! Namely jewelry making where he works with various resin materials, jewels, and the like, that he sells online! It's not the most stable or successful of job choices, he admits. Internet goes out and he's stuck without sales for who knows how long, but he loves it and doesn't plan on changing that anytime soon, even if it may stress him out. With his job, he gets the honor of being able to make beautiful things, such as the flower crown he wears on his head! It was the first thing he ever made, and anyone that dares try to take it will get a lot of baps to the nose.
As of now he lived in a lovely town, Everville! He rarely traveled, though did occasionally wander off to sell jewelry of certain kinds at events or festivals. Today, though, he has the luxury of being able to wander his home. Not many ponies like himself would like Everville, it might be too quiet for them.. but he adores it. It just means he can stand out when he gets the chance! He isn't self centered, no, not at all, but it feels nice to be noticed every now and then.
Petal hummed along as he wandered the streets of Everville with his head held up high, occasionally having to stop to fix the flower crown nestled on his head. Oh, he loved his hair, but it could be such a hassle sometimes when he was trying to wear his little trinket! No matter, he knew full well he was absolutely adorable.. Or, he hoped he was.. oh no! What if he's not! Ah, the classic sudden bout of anxiety of whether or not he just looks confident or like some self centered not that good looking brat of a stallion. These were pretty common in him, as much as he hated to admit it, but he usually forced through and didn't falter. No point being a damsel in distress before you see someone to come whisk you away, right?
