The weather was unpleasant for Stillwater; even in the early morning, the insects found themselves in full swing, the heat of the sun overhead baking down on the dark roofs clustered throughout the little town. No rain had come in over a week, now, leaving it up to the residents themselves to tend to the farmlands' needs. It was nothing that the sleepy settlement hadn't experienced before, but that didn't mean it was ever enjoyable while it was happening; the air shimmered with the warmth rising from the ground below, and the sky remained unmercifully clear, nary a cloud in it to give any relief from the heat above.
Despite this sweltering condition, however, the town was not entirely quiet. For several weeks now, the townsfolk had chuckled at the announcement of a potential estate sale near the southern edge of town - the old Bywater farmstead, left empty for two generations, was hardly what anyone would consider good land. Standing on an unfortunate deposit of rock and clay, it had gone uninhabited for good reason. The mayor had attempted several times to sell it off, having been granted to the town when the last of that line finally passed with no relatives or heirs, but to no avail. No one, everyone said, would ever want that useless piece of land, and the town should simply forget about anyone taking it.
That is, until ... this day. There was a buzz running through the gossips of Stillwater, with something new and strange afoot. It was sparked by something positively tiny, but shocking to those that had lived in the town their whole lives: the sale at Bywater was canceled, because it was already being sold. To add more to the rumor mill, by midday word was already passing that strangers had been spotted at the barren land - but no one had caught wind of any visitors to town in the local hotel.
Town mood: Curious
Notable locations: Bywater estate, mayor's office
If you want to write RPs, whether for participation checks or simply for RP points once the system is revamped, you may only write them for days that have already passed! This is so you know the events that took place on that day. For Day 1, for instance, you could only write an RP about life before the meta started. On Day 2, when you see the events of Day 1 unfold, you may write post-dated RP about Day one detailing more intricate actions of what your pony did and maybe how they reacted to their findings.
You can start a post-dated RP whenever you want - you can start a Day 2 RP on Day 20 if you'd like or should you get inspiration. The only restriction is that it needs to be in its own thread, marked like "[PRP][Day x]" and can only be a day that has already taken place!

HOW TO PLAY
Below you will find the prompt form. Please fill this form out with your pony's choice of actions for the day. Please note this is not the place to roleplay. Your responses should be 100 words or less, with no minimum as long as you are getting your action across! You are free to style your response as a micro-RP post or a simple description like "checking out the creepy farm." This is basically your most important plans of the day - obviously your pony is going to do things like eat or work as usual.
