[Stillwater Meta: Day 3 (p. 4)] Mystery Figure [OPEN]

Your Pony: Citrus Blossom
Their Mood: A little more curious.
Their Actions: Citrus knew there would be nothing good to come from standing around the sold lot all day, all it did was upset the Mayor and wasted time. Though, upon hearing that there was a glimpse of the resident of the estate, maybe one of many, the farmland heir’s curiosity started to rise. Last she heard, they were seen in the General Store. She was on her way there to buy some food for the house anyways, so perhaps she might get a view of them as well upon passing.

Your Pony: Hypnotic Gaze
Their Mood: Interested
Their Actions: Information came to Hypnotic fast and easy, but not of the caliber he wanted to know. Well, he knew the owner of the Hardware Store, and thus found himself at their counter, requesting to know what exactly the stranger had purchased earlier that morning. "Oh, just so I know their interests, of course. I want my welcoming gift to be just right," he had fibbed, with his ever lasting and convincing grin plastered on his features.

What were they building?

Their Mood: Vaguely less suspicious, more curious.
Their Actions:
Her second morning trot by the Stranger's new home bore more interesting fruit. The town had gathered the night before in such a large group that she'd watched from afar, but never got close enough to see much but a robed figure and a mysterious smile. Her second pass by was early enough to see the strangers heading towards town, along the usual path her rounds traveled, so maybe she fell into step beside them, traveling without more than a quiet, "G'Morning." parting to observe their interactions from afar, nodding a silent farewell when they reached the edge of town.

Your Pony: Steady Breath
Their Mood: Aloof
Their Actions: Steady Breath had failed to see anything of interest the day before, not that they had been looking. Today would be more of the same, going about their normal business and avoiding sticking their snout in places it didn't belong. It was by pure coincidence that they ended up at the hardware store that day. They needed supplies for work.

Your Pony: Lackadaisy Limelight
Their Mood: Curious
Their Actions: Lackadaisy's innocent jog to the Bywater place on the previous day revealed his curiosity wasn't alone. He had arrived just in time to see the gathered crowd, the mayor trying to shoo everyone home and a mysterious cloaked figure.
Now today, as he began his opening duties of the rec centre, the mysterious pony was all he could think of.

Your Pony: Burning Passion
Their Mood: Interest piqued
Their Actions: Burning Passion was interested, she had seen the other like others but not a good enough glimpse. Would this newcomer to the town come to see her and ask her to forge new and exciting things? Hopefully. However she would be maintaining her position at the blacksmith, awaiting more news.

Their Mood: Still intrigued
Their Actions: Sweet listened to the rumor mill and mentally catalogued the information. Her goal probably wouldn't change. The more facts the better but she wasn't ready to go snooping around on her own yet.

Note: Changing the storytelling structure just a little bit so that it's easier to follow and not overwriting events that have already taken place. No time shenanigans here!

Please also note your pony shouldn't know things from places they weren't - unless someone tells them ICly. You're free to do this via plot in the Discord channel, as long as it fits into the timeline somewhere! ;3

Day Two Summary
Town Mood:
Curious, but agitated

The crowds continued to converge for any scrap of information, though it was apparent quite early on that the strangers - or perhaps simply stranger? - were friendly enough, if a little distant. The first encounter was in the morning, where T. Rubble joined a lone, robed figure heading into town. Though they parted as the pair drew near to the buildings of the settlement, the walk was long enough to note that the robed figure seemed quite pleased to be in the little town, though the strange individual also thought of the whole hubbub as quaint.

Their journey into town meant that Sundapple did not see them at the Estate, having missed them in their moving about town, but there was at least one happening of note - it seemed that somehow, the dusty old building was already somewhat cleaned up! It wasn't fixed up, of course, but the windows seemed polished and the dust swept from where it had collected outside for years.

At both the general store and the hardware store, that same robed figure encountered far more ponies than they'd expected! There was truly a crowd milling about - some acting innocent, some clearly just there to catch a glimpse of a new face.

At the first stop, the general store, the stranger did their best to greet everyone with softly laughing hellos and hi theres, though they maintained their mystique as they made a purchase of apples, oats, kale, green tea, thread, some winter radish and lettuce seeds, a sewing magazine, and a local newspaper. They requested the items to be delivered to the household as they still needed to do more shopping, then wormed their way through the crowd - meeting a terribly flustered mayor who, once again, attempted in vain to get the group to disperse to little success.

At the hardware store, those happening to be there might have actually caught a glimpse of this stranger, as they finally removed their hood to better communicate with the owner there. Their order was fairly routine for someone needing to do some work on a home: some lumber, nails, hammers, a set of saws, a set of gardening tools, strong adhesives and tape. They also inquired about paint colors and painting tools, though they weren't quite set on what colors just yet.

Before leaving, they put their hood back on, once again working their way through the nosy crowd. Later on, interestingly, there would be an argument among the folks; some thought they'd seen a unicorn, while others were certain that was an earth or pegasus - uncertain if there were any wings, of course, because of the long robe. In general, there was at least a consensus on two things: they were a rather tall pony either way, and, even with disagreements on essentially all aspects of appearance, it was generally accepted they "looked nice enough."

Peacekeeper would miss all of this hoopla, being out patrolling, however he might see something a little... strange. Nothing really identifiable, but as he patroled around the Bywater Estate, there were quite a few critters around. Critters that scurried real fast that he couldn't quite get a good look at. One thing's for sure though - there weren't so many critters around that place before someone bought it up.

The day ends with the stranger tucked away into their new house... though oddly, residents within earshot of the place might notice hammering starting around sundown - and continuing into the late evening... and into the night ... and until sunrise comes around again.

The third day dawns with a sudden silence settling over the estate as light floods the land.

Day Three points of interest: None? Everywhere! The town is abuzz.

Day Two RPs may now be posted.

Your Pony: T.Rubble
Their Mood: Determined to get an impression.
Their Actions:
Making her early morning rounds like she always did - today, Trubble came bearing a gift. The Unicorn wasn't anti-social, or rude when it came to ponies, she was still just newer than most at Stillwater. Until this newest arrival, she'd been the "Stranger". She'd taken over her aunt's mushroom farm after her disappearance a few years ago - and despite the change in lifestyle, she'd stayed. Approaching the door, basket of Mushrooms floating ahead of her, she lightly knocked with the flat front of her forehoof. It was just a little later in the morning than their walk had been yesterday.

Your Pony: Budding Dreams
Their Mood: Happy, curious, hopeful
Their Actions: BeeDee made the hard decision that morning of simply dropping off her gift basket at the front door. Hopefully the nice stranger would find it and appreciate it! She spent the rest of her day buying seeds and plants for her garden. And, the usual, absolutely obsessed over poor Storm!

Your Pony: Hypnotic Gaze
Their Mood: "Friendly"
Their Actions: Gaze woke up early in the day ready. He was done dillydallying, and as the founder of local "church" (if you could call it that, he certainly didn't) it seemed obvious he'd someday approach the other. Who else had, anyway? Gaze would. Intent on knocking on the door with a basket of muffins, Gaze had his warmest smile to great the newest addition to the town.

Your Pony: Sweet Spoonful
Their Mood: Calm
Their Actions: After the crush of the general store Sweet Spoonful decided it was best not to pester the new comer. If they needed a doctor surely everyone would be able to tell them where to go. After work she went to the Farmacy, no harm in a little treat, after all!

Your Pony: Stormy Skies
Their Mood: Just another day
Their Actions: Storm had seen the new person with their hood down in the hardware store, he shrugged it off because it didn't really matter he hadn't stared and had only really glanced as you would any other stranger you pass in a store. He spent his day working at the farm and talking to buddy.

Your Pony: Bitcounter
Their Mood: Bored, Hot, Grouchy
Their Actions: Bitcounter had lost all interest in the new face in town. He left his new book behind at his house this morning and he is regretting it. It is another boring and hot day at the counter putting on a fake smile for the blundering ponies coming to do business at the teller station.

Your Pony: Full Harvest Moon
Their Mood: Mildly intrigued, but mostly tired
Their Actions: Working on the sidelines most of the day became both a blessing and a curse. While Harvest was able to avoid the crowds of ponies looking for a chance to catch a glimpse of the newcomer, she was also stuck in the warmest parts of buildings, unsticking vents and resealing windows. The thought that this mysterious stranger was still a mystery after so many days was intriguing to the teenager, like any black sheep might. She steered clear of the estate while heading home that evening, but caught murmurings of construction noise. Perhaps they could use a handypony’s help soon?

Your Pony: Nose-to-Tail (Nota)
Their Mood: Flusterated
Their Actions: The general store was packed with residents who wanted to catch a glimpse of the dark-robed figure. Nota scoffed at them until he realized he was doing the same. "Psh." Annoyed but still intrigued, he went looking for his new cutlery. Later, in produce, he almost bumped into the very same robed figure. Hastily, he apologized, welcomed the pony to Stillwater, then grabbed a random vegetable and fled the scene. The vegetable was a head of cabbage.

Your Pony: Peacekeeper
Their Mood: Concerned, but mostly about the creatures.
Their Actions: Peacekeeper found themselves alarmed by the foreign creatures they'd sworn they'd seen roaming the entire estate. They decided to patrol by the estate multiple times a day, just to see if they couldn't catch one.

Your Pony: Odds-N-Ends (AKA Oddity)
Their Mood: Friendly, Hopeful, Neighborly
Their Actions: With the day anew and with no visit yesterday, Oddity decided she'd just drop a few freebies with her card to the new neighbor's home. A housewarming present! Upon getting to the estate, however, it seemed there were already ponies lined up to do the same. Oh dear.. Perhaps she'd be better off heading back to work and just hoping they pop in for a visit. Oddity was sure she'd get to know the newcomer soon, if fate would allow. Just after all this... hullabaloo. Welp, back to the shop she went!
