You cannot train pokémon of a higher level than your trainer. Only rehabilitation can be done outside of rank. These trainings are all null.

We did say that you can train just happy/loyalty but I cannot find anything where we said it was allowed outside of the rank restriction. If we did, please link me the message where it was allowed!
